My Cravings

I’ve been looking forward for a very relaxing day because I think I deserve that for I am doing great in my work and I am so stressed out. LOL! But seriously, if only I can take a short vacation, I will not let that opportunity to pass because I’ve been through a roller coaster ride for the past months.

Actually, I’m planning to spend my off from work at Happy Lemon or Serenitea. For your information, these are two of my favorite places to stay to have some tea. It helps me relax and indeed it will make my day complete for I will be able to satisfy my cravings.

To tell you honestly, I’m really craving for my favorite teas and snacks so let me just share some snapshots.

Cocoa with Rock Salt and Cheese
Cranberry Tea and Lemon Yakult
Pepper Tofu

I really hope that I will be able to visit either of the two this weekend and have a perfect cup of tea with my friends and boyfriend.

I Love Korean Food

Just last week, my boyfriend and I have instantly decided to have an early dinner at the Korean restaurant near my office. I was craving for Korean foods and that’s why I insisted that we eat there even though I know that he badly wants to eat Italian foods at that time.

And so, since he loves me very much (LOL!), he just agreed with me for he can’t do anything about it either. We ordered our favorite bibimbap and spicy squid and of course, kimchi and radish.

We were so full after we eat that we didn’t order for desserts that we planned to have earlier. We were supposed to order for crepes but we both thought that we wouldn’t be able to finish eating it anymore.

So obviously, we definitely enjoyed the food and we planned to do this again on weekend.

Breaking The Habit

Honestly, I’m not a big fan of veggies. I do eat some but not at all times and very often. Actually, my mom always demands me to eat greens but I’m really not so used of eating it.

I know, veggies are very nutritious and good for our body but still; I end up eating meats and seafood. I know it’s not that healthy but I love eating them more than the veggies. But later on I realized that I have to change my diet so that I won’t be needing the best cholesterol medications in the future.

I finally decided that I better start eating vegetables more often and break the habit of dealing with meats. In this way, I can have a more healthy life since I can prevent diseases because of the more nutrients that I will get.

Well, I just hope that I can be able to do these changes because I know that this is for my own sake as well.

Let’s have Veggies

At times, kids hate vegetables. They prefer to eat other things like chicken and meat and sometimes, they even lose their appetite if they are forced to eat the green ones. I think most moms encountered this kind of problem with their kids, just like my aunt.

Her daughter never tried eating vegetables. Instead, she eats more junk foods, meat and pork. She never found it pleasing to her taste and she sometimes she would choose not to eat rather than taking the vegetables. And then she will end up eating biscuits, noodles or bread.

My aunt is really worried since her daughter is not receiving enough nutrients. No matter how she tries to insist, her daughter still refuses it. She tried to do experimentations to make vegetables more pleasing and attractive to her but still nothing has changed.

I decided to help my aunt. I’ve searched different easy green bean recipes that look delicious and we are both hoping that this one will work for her daughter’s nourishment.
