My Life Is Back To Normal

Ever since the vacation started, I am really able to finally have time for myself. I am able to rest and complete the 8 hours of sleep that I always lack during school days because of my thesis and case studies. I am up to see my friends from time to time who I wasn’t able to spend time with for the last months because I’m too busy. I am able to visit my dermatologist again to have my treatment and buy my acne medicines and best eye cream. And I am able to do the most important things that I missed doing for a couple months, SHOPPING and TRAVELING.

I am very thankful because my life is somewhat back to normal. As what I’m always saying, since my fourth year in college started, it was like I was always stuck in a room staring in my desktop and doing my papers. I really don’t want to say this but my life was close to hell that time.

Almost all of my time, efforts and plans were dedicated to my work in school that I almost forgot what FUN and REST means. But now that I am on vacation, I’m taking the opportunity to do the things that I weren’t capable of doing during the past months. I’m enjoying my life now while somehow preparing to face the reality that one of these days; I’ll be working in a company.

The Day That Was

I stayed home the whole day in a Sunday. It was the first day of my vacation that’s why I made sure that I would take a rest for the whole day. And so I did and I was happy.

I wake up late in the afternoon and after eating my late lunch, I took a bath and started doing some things that I wasn’t able to do for months now due to loads of works at school. And so, I watch the Grey’s Anatomy Season 5. I am so totally addicted to it that’s why I all the DVD series from Season 1 to 5. After watching a couple of episodes, I decided to surf the net and look for a posh clothes online. I was able to find some and fortunately, I was also able to find nice plasma mounts that my uncle is drooling to buy. So I gave him the site and I was given credit for it.

So seriously, I really did miss doing such stuffs. It’s been six months since I was able to go on a DVD marathon or check the newest stuff online. Thank God we were given a Christmas vacation that I hope will not end but I know it is impossible.

I Agree!!

You Are A Little Snobby

Being a little snobby every once and a while is totally allowed.

If no one was ever snobby, people wouldn't try to better themselves.

While you enjoy the finest things in life (that you can afford), you do tire of superficiality.

You know there's more to life than what's just on the surface.

Classic and Chic

You Are a Bikini

You love warm days, and you don't shy away from the beach.

You're confident enough to not worry about how you look... but you're not a brazen show off either!

You feel sexy and young at heart - especially during the summer.

You are classic and chic. You rather own one designer swimsuit than a dozen cheap knock offs.

Mr. Perfect

My friend is known for his attitude of being vain. He admits it even to himself. At times, he spends a lot of time grooming himself and sometimes, he’s becoming an obsessive compulsive person in a way that he always wants to put all of his things in proper order and there will be times that we are somehow getting pissed with him since he gets easily irritated whenever you touch his things (especially his hair) without his consent.

And now that we observed that he’s gaining a little weight, my other friend told him and as expected, he became a bit paranoid and now he’s starting to have a diet. He goes to gym almost every day to build up his body. He’s even tempted to buy diet pills because he thinks that he really gained a lot of weight.

Oh well, he’s really vain. At first, I thought that it’s just normal for the guys to act like that but then I realized that he’s being exaggerated that it sometimes irritates the people around him. But of course, we’re still his friends and that’s why we just understand him.

Digital Lifestyle

Everyone loves gadgets. As what we can see nowadays, our world has a digital lifestyle that no one else can deny. We are surrounded by the different technologies today that sometimes, we can’t really resist having. It became one of the many priorities of some people because they don’t want to be left behind by the things that are very in today.

Latest cell phones, digital cameras, MP3 players, laptop computers and many other gadgets are the world’s famous things today. And that is why a lot of people are going crazy and indeed working hard just to own one.

I admit that I am one of those people who love gadgets. I do have my iPod, cell phone and MacBook which I consider precious. But I’m not that eager to have these stuffs. I still budget my money and prioritize my things especially when it comes to my needs and wants.

Basically, we should still learn how to give importance to other things that we really need. We should incorporate the things that we have to deal with first before spending too much money for our wants because as we all know, practicality is more important now.

Perfectly Imperfect

I’m just wondering, why is it there are people who are not contented with their looks and tend to be physically conscious? Fat people want to become slim while some slim people want to gain weight. White skin wants tanned skin and tanned skin wants white skin. Straight hair to curly and curly to straight hair. Things are pretty ironic and that I think complicates everything.

Maybe if such things like hair straightening, Fenphedra pills for fighting fats, implants and other things that go with these were not invented, people will never be that conscious when it comes to their physical appearances especially with their figures. Things will be simpler and most people will be out of danger and diseases.

Well, I just hope that people will learn to have their contentment and choose to be simpler rather than complicated. They just have to be thankful with all their blessings as well as their imperfections because every little thing has a purpose. We should always remember that we are perfectly imperfect that’s why no matter what developments we do with ourselves, we can never be that too close to perfection.
