The Dream Wedding

I remember my sister’s wedding years ago. It was a very nice wedding that I never imagined. It was a big wedding celebration and extravagant. The couples really prepared for it that’s why it all turned out to their dream wedding.

I was one of the persons behind the preparations. With the help of my cousin, my sister’s friends and of course, the bride itself, we made every single thing very successful.

I had a great experience during the preparations. From the reservations of the venue and church, making of souvenirs and invitations, buying of bridesmaid gifts and tokens for the parents and many, many more.

It was fun being one of the busy people preparing for the wedding because you can feel the excitement and the joy of the couple.

How I wish that we could do it again. But who knows, maybe on the next few years, I’ll be preparing for my own dream wedding. LOL!

I Can't Wait For Summer

And so I heard a very exciting news. Our family will be attending a wedding this coming May at one of beaches at San Juan Batangas. I’m still not sure about the exact name of the resort but wherever it is, I am very much excited.

This will be my first time to attend a beach wedding. You don’t have any idea how much I love beaches and that’s why I really can’t hide my excitement when I heard about this.

Oh well, of course I have to look pretty during this day so I think I better start looking for an effective acne scar removal. LOL!

And by the way, this will also be our family getaway for summer and I know everyone will enjoy, as this will be our first outing at the beach. Plus, all expenses paid and we’re going to stay there overnight. I’m sure this will be so much fun.

For Girls Only

I have to say it; I am very excited for my brother’s upcoming wedding. Actually, it is the most awaited wedding in our family because his relationship with her fiancĂ©e is about thirteen years, I guess. That’s why everyone in the family is very happy when we heard that they are finally getting married.

What makes me more excited is the fact that my future sister in law chose me to be one of her maids of honor. It is my first time because during the previous weddings that I attended, I was always a bridesmaid.

As part of my duty, I have to help the bride with all the preparations involved in the wedding including the rehearsal dinner invitations that should be distributed to the visitors at least one month before the wedding.

Furthermore, as a maid of honor, I am thinking of organizing a bridal shower for my future sister in law. But of course I cannot handle all the preparations alone so I am planning to ask for the help of the other maid of honor which happened to be the sister’s bride in selecting the design for our wedding shower invitations as well as in distributing the invitations bridal shower to her sister's friends.

The first thing that we have to do is to find a perfect place for this event but I still have any idea about this so I guess I just have to start with the bridal shower invitations instead. But before that, I still have to make a list of names who will be invited in the bridal shower so that I will be able to know, how many Bridal Invitations Shower should be made.

Oh well, I think that’s all for now. I still need to think of new ideas on what to do during the event and I will have to talk to the sister’s bride so we can finalize everything.

It's Been a Long Journey

Finally, my brother and his long time girlfriend of ten years will be facing the altar on April 2010 to have their vows and unite as one. It’s been a very long years for them and I myself is really excited about this. I’ve been one of their witnesses for their relationship. I know they have battled a lot and went through so many ups and downs but still their love for each other made their way until the end.

I am so happy for the both of them and I can’t wait for the wedding preparations though I know that we still have a year to look forward to. My future sister in law just informed me that I will be her maid of honor and that makes me more excited because as part of being one, my duty is to help the bride from the wedding preparations until the wedding day and I simply love doing those.

I still have much detail regarding their wedding except for the fact that they are now booked at Caleruega at Batangas.

Even from now, I can imagine my brother wearing his tuxedo and my future sister in law in her dream bridal gown together, in front of the altar while saying their vows for each other.

I bet this coming 2009 will be a very busy year for all of us for we are going to prepare for their wedding.
