Great Things Start from Small Beginnings

Are you aware of the campaign at Facebook? Maybe you started to notice that many users are changing their profile pictures with cartoon characters.

This is actually a campaign to help remind everyone about their childhood, in order to stop the violence amongst kids.

Let's face it, our generation today is way too different from us. Even if we have cases of kids' violence before, we are still lucky enough because before, children are being punished by their parents just to discipline them and for me, we can't really say that it is a form of violence. But look what we have now. Children are forced by syndicates to work illegally, some are raped just for fun and worst killed by the bad guys.

These cases are far from what we have before. Because during our times, we only experienced to be bitten by slippers, kneeling in salt or mongo seed, take an afternoon nap (which most of us hate when we were young) or prohibited to go out in the afternoon to play.

So can you imagine the brutality that we have now? Kids are innocent and they deserve all the fun on earth. So why stop them to grow up freely and end their lives?

I am participating in this campaign even if for some, changing profile pictures with a character is a nonsense thing and won't do any good to stop violence. Because I think, with this simple way, we can share our thoughts that will lead us to a bigger step to help save the poor kids.

The Contagious Disease

It’s been very superficial that the A(H1N1) virus or the so called swine flu has been really contagious. There are many victims now here in the Philippines that were infected by this. Mostly, the foreigners here in our country are the great carrier of this virus and it’s devastating to know that the security in our country especially in the airport is very poor.

This is the main reason why CHED postponed the start of classes in college because some schools have students who are said to be positive with A(H1N1). People are advised to have a self quarantine to make sure that everyone is safe. Likewise, schools are required to clean their campus and make sure that their place is swine flu free.

Everyone is getting worried with this. I am becoming a little bit scared because I know for a fact that the number of victims is continuously increasing which means that the virus is spread out to different places. My mom has advised me to take a lot of vitamin C and in fact she’s planning to get disability insurance so that no matter what happened, we will always be supported with medical care.

Everyone must take a lot of care and we should always keep our body healthy in order to avoid by this infective disease.

Discontentment

I wonder why most people can’t satisfy themselves. They don’t feel contented with regards to many things around them especially when it comes to their physical appearance.

Talking about the outside looks of people, many people keep on enhancing their bodies though it’s not that necessary, to the point that they are being over reacting in the eyes of the critics. Most people nowadays undergo different kinds of treatments for their body without even considering the danger that it may cause their lives. (Let’s admit it, not all treatments are 100% safe.) Often times, it leads to worst rather than better results.

For me, these things are really unnecessary. These are just in line with our wants and not with our needs. I think it is best to take the natural way of enhancing the body rather than taking some diet pill, treatments or operations. In that way, we can be safer and we can avoid some circumstances that may result to bad effects that may cause damage to us.

Danger Zone

I remembered that I posted a story about a Korean Actor in the famous TV series Coffee Prince that was aired a year ago at GMA 7 here in the Philippines. The story is about the actor’s death because of his motorcycle accident. This tragedy did shock many people including his fans and especially his love ones and co-stars.

As what we can observe, motorcycle accidents are really superficial. Numbers of accidents are getting bigger and sometimes, it is more tragic and really creates big damages to the people involved. Maybe, this is why there are many insurances or some things like that are now being developed especially I other countries just like the motorcycle accident lawyers Los Angeles who offer care for any kind of motorcycle accident. This will obviously be a great help to those people who had this kind of accident because by considering the lawyers, they will be able to settle the damages that they might encounter.

As for the people concern, it is better to take proper precautions while driving so you can avoid troubles and danger. It is best to have your safety first and protect yourself.

My Strategies

It is always a good hobby to learn to budget our own money. It is a great notion so we can learn how to prioritize things and how to deal with our expenses in a very organized way.

In some cases, we have to minimize our expenses so we can have more and enough money to save for our own important needs. And by doing this, we can easily get out of debt and be free with other money responsibilities.

As for me, I never had a problem with this matter. Though there are times that I do owe some credits with my shopping, I can still manage to pay all of them in time because I always allot money for my current liabilities. It’s never been hard for me to organize my savings because I always make sure that I only buy the things I need most and if I am fortunate enough to have extra money, that’s just the only time for me to buy my additional wants.

My Dad's Suggestion

Our family is planning to move at Bulacan. We have a house there and they are now starting to have renovation and they are even planning to expand it. They are putting more decorations by putting modern furniture and accessories that will add enhancements in each spot of the house.

I love the idea of renovating the house; hence, I don’t really want to move there because it will be hard for me since I’m currently studying here in Manila. It’s very time consuming if I will travel everyday from Bulacan and it will really be a big hindrance to my schedule since I have night classes. The danger in travelling that far will be greater and likewise, I would have to consider transportation fares which are not practical for now because for sure, fares will be more expensive for that.

I think it is better if we just stay there every weekend or vacations so that I will not be having a hard time dealing with the different adjustments that I have to consider by then. However, the decision is still with my father and I don’t have any option if he really wants to stay there for good.

It Runs in the Genes

I feel so blessed for having a slim body figure. I don’t need to spend more time in exercising and giving a lot of effort when it comes to diet. Honestly, no matter how much food I eat, I still don’t gain more weight, maybe because I have a faster metabolism plus the fact that having a slimmer body runs in our genes. Well, my mom can definitely prove it. LOL!

Furthermore, I don’t have to spend money for such things like Phentermine diet pills, cosmetic surgeries and other medical alternatives when it comes to losing weight. I don’t even have to take risks since I don’t need to undergo any operations and in this case, I will be safer and I will be definitely out of danger that it might cause.

But I have to admit, though I have a slimmer figure, it doesn’t exactly mean that I am physically fit and perfectly healthy. There are still times that I lack some vitamins and nutrients that every person must always maintain.

Consider the Precautions

For some people, it’s really hard for them to maintain such a good figure especially to women who got pregnant. It’s not that easy for them to lose weight that they gained during pregnancy.

Just like the famous celebrities, of course they cannot deal with the idea of exposing themselves after they gained too much weight especially when they are known to have a voluptuous image before they got pregnant. Most of them, they take other alternatives besides exercising and diet so they can bring back their figure easily in a shorter period of time. Needless to say, most celebrities are very eager to search for the best diet pill and some even undergo surgery.

For me, their actions are pretty normal but of course, they also have to be more prudent. They should always consider the possible consequences of those options to safeguard their health and especially their life because there are some circumstances wherein instead of getting better, it might suddenly turn to the worst case scenario.

Figure Conscious

My friend just gave birth to his first son who weighs 8lbs. She sent me her son’s picture and he’s really cute and indeed handsome.

During her pregnancy, she really gained a lot of weight that’s why she got really frustrated and she almost lost her confidence because of that. She used to be slim and sexy but now the curves were gone. She doesn’t even want to go out with us because she’s ashamed of her figure. But I told her that it’s normal especially when a woman gets pregnant.

I told her that she doesn’t have to worry about it so much because for sure, she will be able to get her normal figure back since taking care of her baby will surely be a very tedious and hard work for her. And aside from that, she also has plenty of options like diet pill, regular exercise or even medical operations.

Well, I just hope that eventually, she will be able to get rid of her frustrations and cope up with her present situation.

Let's Ride

We can never deny that most boys nowadays have passion for luxurious sports car and even motorbikes. In fact, they even established different organizations. Furthermore, these organizations facilitate shows for their cars and motorbikes every now and then and sometimes they travel to different places together.

Just like my friend who is very passionate when it comes to his used Harleys. He really gives his effort and much time to take proper care of it and to participate in such events with his other friends and brothers. He indeed worked hard to have his own motorbike and I can say that he was delighted when he was able to purchase one of his precious dreams.

But we must never forget the danger that the riders can experience. So I suggest that they must take proper education for this and they must always be prudent especially when they are on the road to prevent accidents and obviously to be safe as well.

Pollution

As we can see, our country is too polluted nowadays. Fresh air may no longer exist in some parts of our country due to the different pollutants present in our environment.

People are the number one causes of pollution. Why? Because many people nowadays are being too irresponsible when it comes to taking care of the environment. They throw their trashes anywhere they want. They don’t know how to clean up their own messes. They don’t recycle things that can still be used. Smoke belching. Cigarette Smoking and other things like that.

You see, these circumstances can obviously harm us. We can acquire diseases such as respiratory infections, skin diseases like acne and skin asthma and our immune system will surely become weaker.

So let’s not waste our time. We have to start doing our responsibilities and duties as a citizen. Let’s not be ignorant of the things that have been happening in our surroundings and let’s help each other to prevent pollution.

Let's Talk About Fashion

Fashion is my thing that’s why sometimes, my sister and my friends consider me whenever they have questions about the different trends that we have today.

Just like last night. I was talking with my friend who takes a Fashion Design course for three years now. She told me that they will be having a presentation about their different designs which will be considered as their final examination. She asked me some tips on how they can present their own designs in a very prestigious manner in such a way that they will be easily recognized by the judges. They are not allowed to have a fashion show that’s why they are considering other things. So I suggested that a Custom Trade Show Exhibit will do.

I lent her some of my fashion magazines which cover an article about Custom Trade Show Exhibits. I know it will be very helpful for them because they will even have better ideas on how to organize a glamorous presentation including the things that they will need.

Perhaps they will need more time to prepare for their trade show displays so I just wish them a good luck.
