Meet Spike

This is my baby boy. This photo was taken a year ago when he was still months old. But now my baby boy has all grown up. He is still with me and I still take care and love him just like the way I do before.

Actually, this dog was a gift for me. My brother gave this to me because I was grieving too much when my other dog died. He was also a shih tzu and he looks like just the same as my baby boy now.

I’ve been giving enough care for my dog. I always make sure that he has his immunization for anti rabies and I always give the right kind of food for him to be healthy. I also have pet insurance so that he will have protection for whatever happens.

I really love my dog. He is so dear to me for he always makes me happy with his sweetness.

My Babies

Just last week, I and my dad decided to bring my dogs to their veterinarian to have their monthly check up and for their grooming. The vet noticed that the bodies of my dogs are mostly infected by fleas and it has marks just like rashes.

Actually, it has been my problem with my dogs for almost a month now. I tried so many medicine t kill the fleas and but still nothing happened. I really don’t have any idea on where did they get their fleas because I always keep their places clean. I even give them bath every other day but they still have those insects which irritate them.

The vet prescribed Frontline for the prevention of fleas on my dogs. He said that it is effective so I didn’t hesitate to try it. I’ve been using it for a week now and fortunately, it really lessens and prevents the fleas. So I just hope that it will continuously help my dogs in this dilemma.

The Menace

I’m having a hard time taking care of my new puppy. He’s still a baby that’s why he does naughty things that sometimes irritates me. Most of the time, he ruins everything that he finds by biting them and he keeps on scratching the floor that leads to unpleasant markings.

Obviously, he’s not yet a well trained puppy and because of that, my dad decided to buy him dog toys that will keep him interested than keeping himself busy while he’s trying to destroy some of our things. Of course, I love the idea that’s why I started looking for pet supplies that can make him a bit more enjoying.

Hopefully, these can also develop his mind and body coordination and best of all, his way of practicing a good communication with us to avoid unnecessary things to happen. I know that in time, he’ll be trained enough and be able to somehow follow simple instructions instructed to him.
