Oh I Love Summer

I am sort of on a vacation mode since March 31, 2011. I just resigned from my work for I’ll be transferring in another company and I really want to have a short break before I dive myself into another bunch of responsibilities.

I’ll be free for 2 weeks so now I’m busy planning for our family getaway and as well as my summer trip with my friends. Since I have all the time on earth now to search for various resorts, they assigned me to be the planner and I’ll also be the one arranging the accommodations.

As of now, I have already planned my summer trip with my friends. We’ll be going on an overnight vacation at one of the popular resorts in Batangas. We originally want to have a 3-day vacation but since one of our friends has a duty at the hospital, she can’t afford to be absent for that long.

I’ll be arranging the accommodations later and then after I have settled everything for that, I’ll now start my search for a place for our family to go to.

I’m so excited for all of these and I can’t wait to pamper myself and have a relaxing time at the beach.

Summer Is Almost Here

It’s starting to get hot. I can almost feel the summer as the air gets humid every day. Actually, summer is my favorite time of the year though it can be irritating at times because of too much heat of the sun. We all know that summer is the best time to go to the beach with your friends or family.

In fact, our family will have an early summer getaway. This coming March 6 to 8, the whole clan will fly to Cebu. Most of us are first timers that’s why we are all excited, plus the fact that my beau will be coming with us.

Well then, this reminds me that I have to make an early shopping for summer essentials. First in my list will always be a swim wear and then next is a cover up, dresses, sun block and sun glasses. I’m also planning to buy new flip-flops or sandals but I’ll still think about it since I have lots of that. LOL!

I guess I look so excited right? Well you can’t blame me for I so love summer!

Our First Trip

I already marked the date March 6- 8, 2011, for this is the day of our Cebu trip. It isn’t my first plane trip but it will be my beloved honey and I first plane trip together. We will be together for almost three days, unlike our other trips that only last overnight or one whole day.

I'm just so excited thinking about it. It's going be one of my best trips. My honey is also excited about it because it's going be his first time to ride a plane and visit Cebu. My mom even made fun of him when they learned that it was his first time.

My honey and I both agreed that we are going to make it worth remembering. He said that I should write down all the things we can do in there so we will have an idea what to do when we got there. I just can't stop thinking all the activities that we can do in Cebu. I just’ can’t wait.

Planning for Our Trip

Today is Sunday and I’m so bum because I got nothing to do. My boyfriend is out of town with her family and my sister and her family are out to attend the party of their friend. And so I’m left here, writing words, eating and watching just to make the most out of my time.

And since I have nothing else to do, I decided to search for flights and accommodations since I and my friends are planning to spend our short vacation at Boracay. We’ve planned this for so long because we really want to travel far and we haven’t been there together so we all agreed to go there. Our first choice actually was Bohol, but since Bohol is a quiet yet beautiful and relaxing place to stay, we are looking for a night life at the beach, which Boracay offers.

So for now, I’m going to check out the Cebu Pacific schedule and look for a budget friendly hotel for our travel this October.

Perfect Summer Getaway

This is where we spent our family summer getaway last April. We had an overnight stay in this private resort and everyone totally had a blast.

The place is just perfect for our family. The rooms are enough for all of us, they have videoke, billiards, basketball court, outdoor chaise lounges and they also have a neat cooking and dining area and most especially the pool and the whole place is clean and organized.

But my favorite spot here is the gazebo. The light effects of the whole place are very artistic even though they use simple light bulbs and lamps. The place is just so stunning that you will feel very relaxed if you choose to take a rest there.

Since everyone in our family liked the place, they are already planning to go back here next year. And if possible, we would like to spend our New Year there just for a change. All of us are looking forward to this that’s why we hope that this will really push through.

My Dream Vacation

I really like to travel to different places especially outside the Philippines. I’ve been to so many places here in my country and I love most of them because of the beautiful, white sand beaches.

My sister, brother in law and my cousins are my travel buddies. Our favorite places where we always want to go back are Bohol, Boracay and Hong Kong. For us, Hong Kong is the best place especially when it comes to shopping and in fact we’ve been there twice already.

But all I ever dream is to be in Paris or anywhere around Europe. When my sister and her hubby went there for there second honeymoon trip, I was so envious but of course I know that I can’t come with them because it was an exclusive trip for the both of them and I got no budget for that.

Well I just hope that one day, I’ll be able to go there with my love. LOL!

Forget the Usual Things

I just bumped into my high school friend this evening and I was so shocked to see her new look. She was so fierce and sexy and she happens to be a model. She really had a huge transformation as she was just so simple before who never cared is she gets fat or what. She told me about a pill that she used and I got so curious that’s why I decided to search about it. But before I read about the curvatrim review, I still need to finish setting up our small reunion with my elementary buddies.

Since they know that I am an expert when it comes to places to visit, they assigned me again for the venue. This is not a big reunion but instead, we just want to meet up with each other and perhaps have dinner and stay at a coffee shop. But since this is the usual thing we do, I have thought of some ideas on how we can have fun and enjoy more.

I suggested that we go to Tagaytay and have a picnic there and then after that, we can all try horseback riding, cable car and the most exciting one, the zip line.

I know that this is a bit expensive than we originally planned but then again, this will be all worth it.

The Beach Is Waiting For Us

Summer is the best time for us to travel. And this is the main reason why I love summer. This is also the best time for my friends and I to hangout again for a getaway.

And speaking of getaway, we have already decided on where to go. We’ve all agreed to visit Bohol even if some of us have been there already for so many times. We chose Bohol because we don’t want a too commercialize place because it’s already crowded and sometimes the place, especially the beach are not that clean anymore.

We are planning to go there this May. We are hoping that we can get a perfect scheduled flight for a budget friendly price.

I still have few more weeks to go to save extra money for the expenses that we are going to deal with while we stay there. And also, I need to buy a Kipling travel bag, a new swimwear and other summer necessities.

I know that we will surely enjoy this trip that we are going to look forward for more travels. LOL!

I Can't Wait For Summer

And so I heard a very exciting news. Our family will be attending a wedding this coming May at one of beaches at San Juan Batangas. I’m still not sure about the exact name of the resort but wherever it is, I am very much excited.

This will be my first time to attend a beach wedding. You don’t have any idea how much I love beaches and that’s why I really can’t hide my excitement when I heard about this.

Oh well, of course I have to look pretty during this day so I think I better start looking for an effective acne scar removal. LOL!

And by the way, this will also be our family getaway for summer and I know everyone will enjoy, as this will be our first outing at the beach. Plus, all expenses paid and we’re going to stay there overnight. I’m sure this will be so much fun.

A Happy Happy New Year

We celebrated our New Year at Tagaytay. We had an overnight stay at the rest house of my mom’s friend, which is indeed a very nice place.

During the New Year’s Eve, my cousin and I organized a small program for the whole family. We had a lot of games for the kids and also for the elders. We even prepared prizes for the winners so that they will be more encouraged to join.

After the program, we all headed to the dining room to eat and then after that, we went to the garden and started the countdown for the year 2010.

The following day, we decided to have lunch at Leslie’s. After that, the kids went horseback riding, which is the most awaited time for them. They really had fun and even my four-year-old niece had a blast. She even ask her dad if she can bring home a horse and she also asked for equestrian apparel because she wants a new one for her dream pet horse.

Finally, we all agreed to go home because everyone is already tired. For sure, our next New Year celebration will be as fun as this.

Big Present

Since we are all set for our New Year’s plan, my aunt decided to arrange another trip for her own family. Her son will be graduating this coming March 2010 from high school and he will be celebrating his birthday as well, she plans to give him a trip as their gift.

They have already enjoyed so many beaches here in the Philippines so she is now planning to go out of the country. In fact, my aunt already checked on some orlando vacation homes as one of their options.

They haven’t finalized their decisions since my aunt still has to talk this over to her husband. Likewise, she also needs to consider their budget so that she will not go over board with their expenses.

Well I know that this will be a very enjoying trip for their family and I know that my cousin will surely appreciate this present because I know how much he loves to travel.

New Year Celebration

New Year is about to come and I’m getting a bit paranoid. Why? Because I hate firecrackers. This is one thing that I hate most when New Year comes.

Since it is a big event for all of us, of course we can expect people using different firecrackers. Even as early as now, our neighbors are starting to go crazy with the firecrackers that’s why at times I’m scared to go out because I really hate those.

This is the main reason why our family decided to celebrate New Year in a different way. Traditionally, we celebrate this at our grandmother’s house and all our relatives gather there. But for now, we prefer to go out of town to avoid too much noise from the crowd.

We really want to have an Outer Banks vacation but since we don’t have enough budgets and the plan was so sudden, we just then decided to have an overnight stay at Tagaytay. We already booked the guesthouse of my mom’s friend and it so convenient since only our family will occupy the whole house.

They have a videoke room which we will surely enjoy plus the two billiard tables. They also have a kitchen where we can cook and a very nice and spacious garden where we do our outdoor activities.

Everyone in our family is very excited since this will be the first time that we will celebrate our New Year like this. I am sure that everyone will enjoy and relax.

Excited As Always

My sister together with her family is currently at Kuala Lumpur now. She’s having a conference there plus a vacation with her hubby and daughter.

They’ve been there for almost six days already but they stayed first at Singapore before they landed at Kuala Lumpur. I am honestly a bit envious of them because I really want to go but then I don’t have enough budgets and that’s why I decided not to go.

And since that my mind is really in vacation mode now even if my body is in work mode due to my overload school works, I decided to ask my sister through chat if when they are going to travel again. She didn’t give me an exact date or month but she assured me that by next year, they will surely have orlando vacations and I can definitely go with them.

So of course I got pretty excited that’s why I have already planned of saving enough money for this. After all, I think I deserve a nice treat for myself since I will be graduating soon in college.

Have a Safe and Happy Trip

I was having a chat with my friend a while ago who is in vacation right now. She left last week together with her family and they are staying there until Saturday.

I don’t know where exactly the places they went to, but this morning, she told me that they are heading at the beach right after they have their lunch. She said that her mom made a reservation at the gulf shores Alabama hotels until Saturday morning.

Honestly, I can’t help but feel jealous because I badly miss the beach. I miss the sand, the ocean, the water sports and the other stuffs that we usually do when we are at the beach.

Anyway, enough of my daydreaming. LOL! I just feel excited that my friend will be back here this weekend. I miss my friend so much and I really miss our hangouts. I just hope and pray that they will be safe while they enjoy their trip and I pray that they will have a safe flight back here in Manila.

Early Vacation Plans for October

Our first semester is nearly coming to an end. This means that vacation is fast approaching. Almost every school here in the Philippines gives students a short break during the last week of October up to the first or second week of November before the second semester starts.

And so, my friends and I planned to have an out of town trip again since we all don’t have classes plus one of our friends will celebrate her 20th birthday. So this means that I have to look for a nice venue again to check the accommodations and arrange our reservations. I am always the travel planner in our group because they know I’m the expert when it comes to this.

I suggested that we go to Boracay. They are all okay with that and they all agreed to stay there for 4 days and 3 nights. I immediately looked for a scheduled flight and checked on the rentals just like what I did for Myrtle beach vacation rentals during our last family trip.

Of course, everyone in our group is excited as well as the birthday girl. We planned to invite the parents and two siblings of the birthday girl so that they will not miss their daughter’s birthday. I hope that we can really push through with and we are really praying that time will permits us.

The Ride

Yehey! Weekends, a time to relax, rejuvenate and stress out from school works. My friends and I planned to go out of town. We chose Tagaytay as a good place to run away from the metro. We went to Tagaytay Highlands to unwind; we tried every activity that the establishment offered and had a blast. I really enjoyed our time on zoo. We’ve seen different animals; animals that we’re not available on zoos at the metro.

After doing such stuffs, we save the best for last; we intend to horseback ride at our last minute there. I admired the facility of the place; it was really fun riding horses there. They provide good service; smiling employees, good place, good equipment and of course, cute horses. Before we ride, they give us breeches to wear and other bulky stuff to make our riding safe. It was really fun! I felt so good while riding and it relieves me from stress and lightens my load.

As the time passed by, we have to say goodbye on the horse we mounted on and head back home, because it was a bit late by that time. We haven’t realized that we’ve stayed there for too long but we really did enjoy that trip. Hope there’ll be another one soon.

Happy Trip

Last May 30-31, my friends and I went on an outing at Batangas. We didn’t really plan this ahead of time that’s why we had a hard time looking for a beach resort that still has available rooms. Our target resorts were all fully booked since at that time, it was still peak season. Fortunately, we found a resort that is very affordable and offers nice services plus the place is nice and not too crowded.

So we arrived there around one o’clock in the afternoon. Though the place was just perfect for us, we were very unfortunate because the weather was not really good. It was drizzling the whole day that’s why we didn’t enjoy much swimming in the beach. I think we just stayed there for about two hours and after that we decided to stay in our room since we can’t even do water sports because of the rain and the high tide and just waited for our dinner.

Right after our dinner, the rain has stopped so we decided to go out and stayed on one of their cottages. We set up our MP3 players and speakers outside so we can have some music while we were playing cards and drinking alcohols. LOL!

The next morning, the sun was shining so we didn’t waste our time and immediately went swimming again. We were able to do some water sports like the banana boat and the pedal bike. At 12 noon, we checked out our room then we placed our things first in the car and then we went back to the beach. We started preparing to go home by 3pm and we were able to leave the resort at 5pm.

We headed to Tagaytay City to eat our dinner at Yellow Cab. We were all starving! After our dinner, we finally went home and we were able to reach our houses around 10 in the evening.

Looking Forward

Just this afternoon, my sister informed me that Cebu Pacific has a one day domestic promo. In honor of the Independence Day, they are offering different travel deals for a very low price.

We checked on how much it cost from Manila to Cebu because she wants to go there on her daughter’s birthday on November and likewise, I and my friends also want to have a trip there. The rate is really low so I immediately called my friends and let them know about it.

After a while, they called me back and they really want to go so we are planning to book a flight going to Cebu. But then, we are not yet settled with the date because we still don’t know our schedules for schools. If possible, we are actually planning to set the same date with my sister’s plan so we can have some adult company with our tour who can somehow guide us during our stay there. Hopefully before the day ends, we will be able to buy tickets for our vacation plan this November.

Still Thinking...

My sister is a bit puzzled now. Her hubby will be having a seminar at Europe and she wants to go with him together with their daughter Bella but then again, they think that Bella can’t stand the long flight plus the long travels during their stay there. Even my mom doesn’t want Bella to come with them because it will be too tedious for her.

And so my sister thought that she can have an alternative with that She really wants to travel that’s why she’s thinking if they can just have Vegas vacations instead. They really want Bella to come with them but they are trying to avoid the hassle for her since she’s just a little kid and we know that kids easily get bored and cranky and most especially, they easily get tired.

Until now, my sister is still undecided if she will come to Europe with her hubby but without Bella or she will just wait for another couple of months for their next travel that would probably be Vegas that will include their daughter.

Safe Trip for Us

Though I still have to look for details about Mesothelioma cancer, I really need to go for now. Our company will have a team building tomorrow and I’m coming with them. By six in the morning, we should be there at the office because the service will leave at exactly 6:30 AM and we will be heading at Pagsanjan at Laguna.

Until now, I still haven’t packed my things since I just got home, I’m tired and most of all, I’m lazy. LOL! But anyway, my clothes are already arranged and I just have to double check them and put it in my bag. Maybe I’ll just start packing them right after posting this entry. LOL!

Oh well, I really have to go now. I still have so many things to prepare and I need to sleep early so I can wake up on time. I’m so excited and I really can’t wait. I hope there is no rain tomorrow and I hope the weather will be just fine.
