And so, finally, we’ve got our tickets. These are for John Mayer’s concert here in the Philippines on October 1. I’ll be going with my siblings, cousin, boyfriend and other friends and we are all so excited about this.
We actually had some trouble buying these tickets. We want to avail the early bird promo so we can have discounts but it took us four days to finally get it.
Last Tuesday, my sister and I went to SM San Lazaro to buy our tickets since the last day of the early bird promo was Sept.10. And so when we got to the ticketing booth, we were not able to buy because the system was down and they cannot access it. We asked then if we can just make reservations and then we’ll just pick it up the following day but we were advised to just call the ticketnet hotline to place our reservations.
The following day, my sister called the hotline for our tickets. We reserved 6 tickets and we were given until 8pm the following day again to claim it. And there, the next day, we went back to SM San Lazaro and surprisingly, this time, they had a problem with the printer so they can’t produce tickets again. We were so frustrated because we were afraid that the tickets would run out of stock since they have the early bird promo.
September 10, I decided to go to SM Manila instead, alone. And there it was, our lucky day! I finally bought our tickets!
