I was checking on my emails a while when an instant message popped in my window. It was one of my friends from high school who I haven’t seen and talked for so long because she migrated to California with her dad.
And so we had a little chat and then she said that she’s here in the Philippines now for a vacation and for a special celebration. At first I thought that she’s going to get married but I was wrong.
Before we ended our conversation, she told me that she will email something to me. Then I said okay and waited for it. After a minute, I checked on my email and I saw her message with a subject, baby announcements. I got curious and I immediately opened it and discovered that it was an invitation for her baby shower that was planned by her sister.
I was really surprised because I didn’t have any idea that she is pregnant because as I’ve said, I haven’t talked to her for so long. I was invited together with our other friends and we can’t wait to see each other again.
