I just read the email of one of my friends who’s now living in North Carolina. We are very close since grade school, that’s why our distance didn’t become a reason for us to communicate with each other. From time to time, we are exchanging emails and sometimes we do chat and whenever she has time, she calls me and we talk for a couple of minutes.
Well anyway, about her email, she told me that her mom is sick for weeks now. They already went to their doctors and they discovered that her mom has complications with her kidney that’s why she really needs to undergo operation. Good thing that they have Blue Cross Blue Shield NC health insurance which helped them with their hospital bills and other payments for their doctors.
As of now, her mom is still recovering from her operation and my friend is the one who takes care of her most of the time. I just wish them well and I pray for her fast recovery.
