I just got a phone call from my friend who is now living in Los Angeles. She told me the good news that she will be going back here in the Philippines for a vacation.
As soon as I heard the news, I can’t help but feel excited about it. I’ve never seen her for almost three years now since she’s already living with her mom in Los Angeles. Her mom remarried there that’s why they chose to stay there for good.
While we were talking over the phone, I can also feel how excited she is to be back here. In fact, she already requested an out of town trip together with our other friends. Probably, they will be here by May or as soon as their immigration lawyers finishes the papers of her stepdad.
And so I thought, I still have two months to plan our trip. Of course, I want it to be well organized since that will be the first time that we will see each other again after three long years. I just hope that everyone in our group can come so that my friend will be able to enjoy her stay here.
